How Vibrational Energy Affects Your Life

Change your thoughts, change your life.
Your thoughts, like everything else in the world are made of vibrational energy. The universe responds to the vibrational energy of your thoughts resulting in circumstances that align with your thoughts and emotions. The higher your vibrational energy with joy, love, and happiness- the more you're able to use the law of attraction to change your life. This is how the law of attraction works.
If you think positive thoughts and focus on the positives, your vibrational energy will get you more of what you want. If you think negative thoughts or are stuck in lower vibrational energy patterns such as guilt, sadness, or hopelessness, you'll get less of what you want and more of what you don't want. This may sound like VooDoo, but you are 100% connected to the universe (also known as God, law of attraction, life energy, star dust, physics, higher power, higher self, consciousness, Billy, ..seriously, call it whatever you want). By understanding the principles of the law of attraction you can focus on thoughts of a higher vibrational energy to change your life and attract desired circumstances.
The vibrational energy of your thoughts has a lot to do with your physical and mental circumstances. Let's get one law of attraction rule straight. The universe doesn't know the difference between "I want and I don't want". But what does that mean?
I can't afford my bills as a thought that is matched with vibrational energy of stress and hopelessness will achieve the same results as the thought I am financially free with feelings of appreciation and joy. Which situation do you want? This is a choice. You always have the choice. You choose your moods, your emotions, and you choose your thoughts.
Thoughts are mental energy; they're the currency that you have to attract what you desire. Learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you don't want. --Dr. Wayne Dyer

Can't You Just Ignore Negativity and Think Positive Thoughts? Won't This Raise Your Vibrational Energy?
If you have a monkey mind that is constantly stirring up drama and negativity, it can be hard initially to transition to a positive mental attitude with higher vibrational energy emotions.
Consider this. You've been negative for years and it's not something that just started a couple days ago. You have mentally wired your mind to focus on the negative and this is where your mind is comfortable and at its natural state. It's similar to a new onset diabetic. Some people have had high blood sugar for years [low vibrational energy], so the body has unhealthily adapted to the situation. If a person has been running 400 blood sugars and I try to get their blood sugar to 95 [higher vibrational energy], which is considered normal--this person is going to feel awful and likely stop taking their medications and lose trust in me as a healthcare provider.
Changing your thoughts, emotions, and vibrational energy is similar to the person trying to lower their blood sugar. You can repeat I am happy, I am healthy, I am successful, I am motivated, I am worthy of love, and I am financially free all day, but if you don't feel the vibrational energy of the emotion of the affirmation--it's just words.
How Do I Break Free from the Monkey Mind so I Can Raise My Vibrational Energy?
There is a way to break free from this cycle. Now, I'm going to say a word that may be super scary to some of you (I've seen the annoyance in patient's eyes, so I know it's hated by many).
MEDITATION!
Now, that wasn't so bad was it?
So I didn't lose you with MEDITATION. Great! You really do want to change your life and raise your vibrational energy.
I want you to develop a meditation routine. Sometimes it's difficult to quiet the monkey mind, but while trying to change your thoughts to a positive mental attitude, you don't want all that mental negative vibrational energy going on a rampage.
When working with the law of attraction and getting out of the habits of negative thinking, it's better to have a quiet mind than a falsely positive mind. Meditation allows you to sit quietly by focusing on your body and breathing instead of focusing on every thought. The thoughts will pop up, but you just let them go and return to your breathing. Meditation is very effective with long term benefits and is guaranteed to raise your vibrational energy.
I don't expect you to sit in full lotus with your palms facing the ceiling while Tibetan chants play in the background. It's easy to learn how to meditate. You just need a place to sit or lie down (preferably where you won't be disturbed) for at least 5 minutes.
TMI ALERT: I'm a mother, so I understand that sitting on the toilet may be your only alone time and if this is the case, you do that toilet meditation. Sorry for the image, but as a nurse practitioner, poop talk actually is a normal conversation for me. DId I mention humor is one of the best ways to raise vibrational energy?
Still with me? Great!

You will hear many people say that you shouldn't meditate from your bed. Again, I'm going to take any opportunity I have to get my minimum meditation of five minutes twice per day. If my kids are in bed, then bedtime is the perfect time for me to meditate. Do what works for you, not what works for others since it's your vibrational energy that you're trying to change.
How Do I Meditate?
Meditation is all about your breathing. First, inhale deeply through your nose.
Hold your breath for 1-2 seconds.
Slowly exhale out of your mouth.
Count to 1.
Repeat breathing cycle.
Count to 2.
And again and again.
This will be hard at first and you'll find your mind trying to intrude, but it gets easier with time and practice. As you improve, you can stop counting and just focus on the breaths. In time you will notice an obvious difference in the amount of thoughts that enter your mind.
Think of meditation as a deep clean of your conscious and subconscious thoughts. The law of attraction works better if you clean out the negativity and make room for positive thoughts so you can raise your vibrational energy and change your life.
