What's An Intention?
An intention is a mental commitment to carry out a future goal or plan. Every time your thoughts make an assumption about a future event, whether negative or positive, you are setting a future intention.
A strong intention will align with a universal source making it possible for you to achieve or run away from your goals. For instance, if you say “I always get terrible side effects when I take vitamins” then the universe will align to ensure you get terrible side effects. On the other hand, if you take a vitamin fully convinced that it’s going to give you energy, then your intention is set and you become energetic.
As you can see, you control the placebo effect.
What’s Your Intention?
Take a moment to ask what you want for your future.
Do you want a different job? Do you want more friends? Do you want a raise? Do you want to lose weight? You have the power to make your intentions a reality and if your goals haven’t manifested, then take a step back and do some self reflection.
Where are your thoughts contradicting your goals? If you wake up everyday and start saying “I am happy, I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am harmonious, I am powerful, and I am whole,” but nothing changes in your life, then you need to realize that affirmations only work if you truly believe in their outcome.
You can do affirmations daily, but if you don’t truly believe in your skills and abilities, then they are just words.
Words are empty without meaning.
You Have A Purpose
You were put here with a purpose to fulfill. Affirmations are powerful when you believe what you are affirming, so by saying “I am here with a purpose and I intend to fulfill my purpose in perfect alignment with universal source,” you are setting the path for your intention.
It is not uncommon to not currently know what the universe has planned for you, but it will manifest when the time is right and you have to be ready to receive the message.
Meditation can help you determine your purpose as it’s the most direct way to communicate with your higher self and many have found their answers while just sitting quietly.
The Power of Visualization
Show gratitude and act as if your desired outcome has already manifested. Sometimes this involves role playing, which can be a fun process since you’re visualizing yourself in your intended role.
Close your eyes and picture yourself accomplishing your goals. You’re a five sensory being, so involve as many senses as possible in your visualization. Smell the flowers, the fresh cut grass of your lawn, feel the breeze through the widows, feel luxurious fabrics against your skin, taste a beverage, and see your surroundings in as much detail as possible.
A vision board on your wall, in a notebook, or even on Pinterest can help the visualization process since you can accumulate images that relate to your intention.
Your imagination is your connection to the universal mind and all great accomplishments begin because someone used their imagination.
Accelerate the Process of Manifestation

You’ve heard the phrase your body is a temple, so it’s time to start treating your body in this way. The most powerful manifestors have high vibrations which start with basic self care.
This list will help you raise your vibration!
Eat a healthy diet filled with fruits, vegetables, nuts and olive oil while avoiding processed and contaminated foods.
Increase your water intake.
Meditate daily [I prefer two short 5 minutes meditations during the day and then a full body scan at bedtime].
Completely avoid recreational drugs and alcohol.
Dance. There are so many forms of dancing, so there is definitely one for you. It gets the heart rate up, puts you in an amazing mood, and gives you a sense of confidence. Think of the countless cultures that have used dance in spiritual, nature, and fertility rituals.
Do a daily gratitude list and send love to everyone around you.
Forgive those who have hurt you in the past.
Focus on what you intend to attract into your life and feel so much gratitude that your mind is convinced that what you want to manifest is already yours.
By following the steps outlined in this article, you’ll be able to watch the magic manifest in your life. If you’re easily dissuaded, start with small intentions, such as seeing the numbers 1111 or a feather in the next 24 hours.
The more small goals you successfully manifest, the more confidence you’ll gain in your manifesting abilities.
