7 Guaranteed Steps to Improve Your Life
According to the law of attraction principles, your thoughts are made of energy and when these energetic thoughts are in alignment with universal source, they have the ability to create the life you want. The only thing standing between you and your goals is your own limiting beliefs. If you follow the steps listed below and are consistent with these steps, you will see your life change.
Set Goals that You Believe You Can Achieve
All successes start with goal setting. Intentions are created by setting goals and combining the intended goal with the belief that your goals are attainable. When working with the law of attraction, if you 100% believe your goal is attainable, you can and will achieve your goals. The law of attraction makes things that seem impossible to others a possibility for you since you can visualize the desired outcome in your mind.
Start by making a list of your goals. I suggest carrying your list with you in an easy to access area, like a wallet or purse.
When making your goal list, separate short term goals from big picture goals. Consider big picture goals as your 1, 5, 10, 15 or more year plans while keeping short term goals as daily, weekly, or monthly.
A common mistake is setting goals that are too large in the beginning to see measurable results which leads to a loss of motivation and the premature "this isn't working" law of attraction mentality. This is why I love the second step...
Complete the Daily Five Goals
The Daily Five Goals are incorporated into your daily short term goals with the intention of meeting your longer term goals. The Daily Five Goals allow you to cross off five tasks everyday to keep you constantly pushing forward to meet your goals.
For example, if I wanted to create a successful blog, my first day could be: research hosts, research niches, list potential blog names, see which blog names are available, and pick the top 3 blog names. The following day may be to get multiple friend’s opinions of the blog names, buy the available domain, purchase a hosting plan, find a design template, and come up with article ideas.
These simple baby steps are the stepping stones needed to achieve your bigger dream. Each baby step that becomes a reality mentally reinforces the law of attraction principles which makes it easier to manifest larger goals and desires.
Make it a priority to start the Daily Five Goals today because this step enhances the feeling that your goals are attainable since you're consistently crossing off daily steps (goals) that get you closer and closer to your final destination.

Create a List of Why You Want to Manifest Your Goals
Why do you want to be successful? Why do you want that relationship? Why do you want that lifestyle? More simply put, why do you have the goals you have?
Make a list of the reasons you want to manifest your goals. Start each sentence with your goals. Here are some examples:
I want to create a successful blog so I can spend more time with my family.
I want to create a successful blog so I can earn $5,000 more per month.
I want to create a successful blog so I can buy a bigger house.
I want to create a successful blog so I can afford an annual vacation to Hawaii.
I want to create a successful blog so I can be financially free.
As with all desires, you must move to the fourth step...
Visualize Your Goals as Already Obtained
With your list of reasons to meet your goals, visualize yourself as already obtaining your desires. Feel the emotions of already meeting your goals. This is how the law of attraction works in your life.
Using the example of creating a successful blog, visualizations may include visualizing your bank account with an extra $5,000, writing and sending the final check for your student loan payment, sitting on a beach outside of your luxury Hawaiian hotel, cooking dinner each night for your family in your large house, or building a garden in your huge yard.
You can create a visualization board or journal, draw or paint pictures, or just good ol' fashion daydreaming. Visualizations are strongly influenced by the law of attraction that states we attract what we think about.
By visualizing our goal as already obtained and matching the feelings of our goal obtained, we enhance the ability to manifest our desires into existence with the law of attraction.
Let's take our visualization a step further with step five...
Write Affirmations that Match Your Goals
Write five positive affirmations everyday before bed declaring you’ve already achieved your goals. For example:
I am so happy and grateful that I have time to cook dinner and spend the evenings with my family.
I am thankful for the extra $2,000 I make monthly with my blog.
I am so blessed to have such a comfortable roomy home.
I am so happy that my Hawaii vacation is all paid for and I'm ready to go.
I am grateful that my student loan is paid in full and I have so much money available to do other things.
As you can see, positive affirmations do not have to be magically extravagant.
You've already seen yourself obtaining your goal through the process of visualization, so this step is just showing your gratitude and claiming the manifestation as reality. If you want to make this process poetic, go ahead. But a simple statement will do.
Create a Daily Gratitude List
As you'll see on my Pinterest page, gratitude is definitely my thing! The daily gratitude list does not have to include your goals, but instead just five things you are grateful for today.
My gratitude list for today includes a heated home (the windchill is 25 below zero), watching my daughter play with her toys she got for her birthday yesterday, having a truck with 4-wheel drive in the winter, my healthcare career, and a hot shower.
As you can see, there's nothing extravagant and nothing related to my blog.
By focusing on what makes you feel joy, you attract more joy into your life.
Once you can change to an attitude of gratitude, even seemingly negative events can make you feel grateful. Today when I was walking from my daughter’s bus stop during a wind advisory in windchill below zero–I was grateful. I walked into my home where the heat was nice and toasty. In situations of temporary discomfort there is true gratitude to be discovered such as having heat in the winter, but we wouldn't realize this without the short term discomfort.
Always be grateful.
It’s better to meditate for five minutes twice daily than it is 30 minutes once per week. The last thing you want is turbulence or chaotic mind chatter while you're trying to live your best life.
Meditation helps you quiet your mind while focusing on the greatest gift the universe has ever created- your breath. Meditation helps you align with the universe and reach an energetic flow that puts you into a receiving state.
Meditation also helps you release emotional blocks enhancing your ability to manifest your dreams.
Meditation can involve counting each inhalation-exhalation cycle, sitting quietly while actively attempting to silence your thoughts, or rhythmic breathing. A quick Google search will show several types of meditation, so start practicing and find a meditation that works best for you.
